Lots of Photos for your website? Slideshow?

If you have more photos for one page on your website than you can work to get under 100KB here are some options.

1.  You can create thumbnails that link to larger photos.  This can be very time-consuming unless you use the quicker way in Dreamweaver.

2. You can put your photos into a SoundSlide presentation and embed the swf file.  You can add captions, leave out the audio, and you have a silent slideshow.

3.  You can use a service like Animoto that takes your photos and puts them into a funky slideshow/video.  Your show resides on their account and you embed it into your page — unless you pay money.   This is not  journalism. It’s more what we call “entertainment”.  But if you’ve taken the photos it may be an option you want.

4.  If you have a Flickr account, you could use Flickr Slideshow or if you have a Photobucket account, I understand you can create slideshows from there as well.
